Field research 15th April 2016

Kendriya Vidyalaya Mankhurd (CBSE, government school):
•Being an ex- student of this school helped me in analysing the problems in a better way.
•My experience:
Frankly speaking I took this topic because I have experienced it.
In school my source of enjoyment was only friends like many other students. I never liked studying because the teaching as well as the learning process was only textbook, lack of practical application and lack of interaction . The assessment  was only on the basis of exams and projects , not on the basis of learning  and understanding of a student. Basically they focus on completing the course and there is lack of trained teachers.
•Mrs.A Padmavati( principal):
~ There is a need of political statement for introducing new techniques of teaching .
~ Lack of good and trained teachers.
~Regular workshops are conducted for teachers .
~Lack of vocational training.

Initial statement: Developing human resources for schools to solve the crunch of good and updated facilitators.

Exploring our current schools:
Every school is following a particular  curriculum. Because of limited space and time, the teachers focus on completion of course instead of making the students understand the purpose of learning through practical application. This leads to rote learning.
The existing schools have been made according to the thinking of an adult. School is a child's place ,so why don't we keep that in mind while making a school?

Creating a system that will nurture a child's dream and unleash their potential and passion is necessary.
